| Dec-19-09 | | jerseybob: Fred Lennox: Just played over Lanzani-Smyslov, and while it's a fine game by black, white's premature e5 takes it out of Maroczy Bind territory, at least for me. When I think of the Bind, I think of white pawns on e4/c4, and black maneuvering behind the lines, looking for pawn breaks. The Hedgehog can grow out of that. |

On the walls he had 2 huge pictures of himself with celebs. I recognized Florin Gheorghiu immediately but needed to be told who David Bowie was. Pop culture clues still trip me up doing crosswords. Oh well. |
