OOOOOOOPPPPPPSSSS!!!!!:D:D:D

Dec-07-21  Retireborn: Is it a bad, naughty, no-good bishop?
Dec-07-21  cehertan: This looks winning. Whats the catch.
Dec-07-21  Diademas: Carlsen immediately made a face as if he couldn't believe it.

blazerdoodle: Nanoseconds, lol.... Time moves differently for Carlsen, alright. Remember that story about the guy on steakout - got into a gun battle - and all the could see was the word frienship passing by, later discovered it was the rear of the bullet casing coming out of his machine gun. Adrenaline, time. Or Carlsen just thinks fast when the move is obvious.

Teyss: Either Nepo played too fast to put pressure on Carlsen's who's behind on time, either he saw something we didn't. But that's unlikely because as Short said during the third game "We are all geniuses, sitting here on our bums while the engines do the work for us."

The lose of the b7 Bishop is a mere flesh wound. Don't jump out with Bxc6 that activates the big pawn on f8.

Let White misplace his Rooks picking up the Bishop and hold the c5 and e5 pawns to keep the f8 Bishop out the game.

Fight Nepo, dig in at least till time control.

Dec-07-21  Retireborn: Carlsen's zeitnot worked in his favour, as Nepo didn't want to play 27.f3 as Black could play ...Nh6 quickly.
Dec-07-21  Messiah: Guys we are seeing history here.

Teyss: <Messiah: Guys we are seeing history here.> Yes, sad history.

<Sally Simpson: [Carlsen] wants the match over by Saturday so he can do some Dubai Christmas shopping and catch the Sunday bargains.> He'll have the full weekend now.

Teyss: <chancho: Nigel Short is probably smiling somewhere...> He doesn't like Nepo?
Dec-07-21  cehertan: Incredible feather in MCs cap if he was never in danger of losing this. I still maintain that he caught Nepo in his home preparation, and in today’s game that is a huge advantage.

blazerdoodle: White just doesn't have time to stop from losing that Bishop. The a pawn is needs constant protection from the very source White needs to move ... ? ... I mean, moving to trade the rook, get a rook down the d file. Is there something inbetween?
Dec-07-21  Diademas: That was just sad.
Now I hope Nepo will win a game and leave Dubai not totally demolished.

..the f8 Bishop, Are you on another game or do you have issues with your keyboard?

Sorry about that, keyboard and chessboard issues and still in a state of minor shock.
