Penguincw: Congrats to Sandro Mareco for winning the American Continental Championship with 8.5/11, edging out Yuniesky Quesada Perez on tiebreaks 75.5-73.5. It was a long tournament, but he had 2 3-game winning streaks, both of them ending by beating Cori (Deysi Estela Cori Tello in R3 and Jorge Cori in R10 with black).

He also gains 12 rating points and is now at 2593, as he attempts to return to the 2600 club.
