Aug-31-14  waustad: Congratulations on winning the Internationales Grossmeisterturnier / Erfurter Frauenschachfestival 2014 with a score of 6.5/9. The players who were hoping for GM norms all came up a little short, with Shen Yang losing in the final round and Elisabeth Paehtz drawing too many games. Lela Javakhishvili lost to Shen Yang in the penultimate round, taking her out of norm contention.
Jan-27-15  Severin: Surely, there must be a better photo of her than the one here...
Feb-16-15  waustad: One of her games from the Internationale Schachopen Graz 2015 has commentary here (in German): http://www.viewchess.com/cbreader/2... As of now, she is tied for the lead with 4/4 and is playing her co-leader Boris Chatalbashev today.

About the picture. The most flattering picture I've seen of her is from a calendar where a professional makeup and photography team put together pictures of the players at a tournament in Wroclaw. Here is a link to some of these pictures: http://chess-news.ru/en/node/13537

Most of these players don't spent that much time primping and generally just get on with life.

Sep-28-15  waustad: With her two wins on the first weekend in the Frauenbundesliga she had an excellent result. Her win over Alexandra Kosteniuk helped her team Hamburger SK von 1830 gain a 3-3 tie with OSG Baden Baden, the odds on favorites for the title. Results and some games from the first weekend can be found here: http://de.chessbase.com/post/auftak...
