Sneaky: What exactly makes the Queen's Gambit a Ragozin variation? Is it 4 ... Bb4?
Nov-05-04  themindset: yes, it's 4...Bb4
Oct-20-06  netlava: The opening of the day... Is it any good? The stats for black are nice.
Aug-13-07  melianis: Again, the opening of the day.
S Agdestein vs Onischuk, 2006 is on D38, as it should. can't tell what's the difference...

Oct-13-13  waustad: Is it called the Vienna Variation because Gruenfeld played it? Becker and Hans Mueller were Austrian too, so I guess that's understandable.
Oct-13-13  pajaste: oh, there's no Rogozin Vienna here, Game Collection: Vienna 1898 , but the first game in the list is next year.

OhioChessFan: I've always thought that the fact e6 is played before dxc4 is really not what should differentiate a QGA and a QGD. Of course, if 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 and 10 moves later dxc4, then I see how it's a QGD. All kind of random, but anyway.
