Dec-29-22  EphemeralAdvantage: The position after Carlsen's 18th move is almost identical to the position from the famous Fischer vs Andersson, 1970 game after Fischer's 16th. Know thy classics

Well, <Messiah>, it would be both easy, and similarly useful to all of us, if you copy and paste <I don't like this game.> over at
Fischer vs Andersson, 1970
and continue the journey to achieve Most Ignored Kibitzer.

Unfortunately he says 29. Qc4 wins quickly, while the 29. Nf7+ Carlsen played leaves white up an exchange with work left to do.

Dec-31-22  Mayankk: Without watching the video, how does White win after 29 ... Kg8 ?

One potential line I had was 30 gxh7+ Kxh7 (30 ... Kxf7 31 h8 = Q) 31 Rh3+ Kg8 32 Nh6+ Kh7 33 Nxf5+ etc. where aided by the twin Rooks on g and h files, the White Knight goes on a windmill, eventually forking the Black King and Queen. But not sure if that is the best Black defense.

30. Qc4 and it's all over.

Dec-31-22  Albanius: After 10 moves it is pretty much a normal Najdorf with colors reversed.
