  Phony Benoni: From <The Chess Player's Chronicle>, 2nd March 1892, p. 229:

<"EXPRESSS PLAY

"A novel kind of rapid Chess was arranged at the recent Dutch Congress between Mr. Loman and Herr van Foreest. The conditions were that the two players should conduct against each other ten games simultaneously, with alternate first move, and that only half-an-hour be allowed to each player for completing all the games. Herr van Foreest proved to be the better man in this joust. He scored the first three games, and had only consumed the first twelve and a half minutes when his opponent had exhausted twenty-five. He then allowed Mr. Loman an extra ten minutes, but finally won the match by 7 to 3. Herr van Foreest actually ran from one board to the other, and yet he rarely made a weak move.">

It may not be a coincidence that van Foreest lived into his 90s.

You can't see the Foreest for the trees.

Troller: Would he be related to Jorden van Foreest?

And now I see on Jorden's page that is in fact the case. It would be amusing if Jorden and Lucas were to also win some Dutch Championships in the future.
