  Richard Taylor: It was also a satire by Swift and company at some one they targeted who annoyed them -- people such as Addison, Steele and possibly Pope in the 18th Century.

Why not pay attention to the chess. In R D de Coverly vs N Grisogono, 1973 21. Bh5+ is particularly nice.
