<The genesis of the present chapter came at the 2007 World Junior championships in Turkey. My former teammate Tamas Erdelyi was selling chess books there, and I decided to pick up two endgame books, both co-authored by Karsten Muller and Frank Lamprecht: Fundamental Chess Endings and Secrets of Pawn Endings.>
