H Crabbendam may actually be two different players, it's very hard to find more.

Here's some info:

<The type of chess we played was of an abysmal level, which was a shame for him in particular, as both his father and his father's brother had belonged to the Dutch subtop (translation?) in the decades before. Father Crabbendam sometimes came into the room and then watched our mess shaking his head>.

https://dwarseman.blogspot.com/2018...

https://www.365chess.com/players/U.... has U Crabbendam for the 1968 Hoogovens-B tournament.

U Crabbendam may be Umberto Crabbendam (1918-1984), who was born in Rome.

Het Vrije Volk 09-Jan-1968 has a Rico Crabbendam playing in Wijk aan Zee.
