Chessgames.com Chess Event Description
MrDodgy Invitational (2020)

The MrDodgy Invitational was an 8-player online knockout tournament taking place in the chess24 Playzone from 12th-14th June 2020. The event was named after one of chess24's most enthusiastic kibitzers. Each match consisted of 12 blitz games, with the first player to 6.5 points winning. The games were played at a time control of 5 minutes for all moves (no increment). If the players were tied at 6:6 they would play a single Armageddon game, with a coin flip to decide who chose color.

Anish Giri beat Navara 7-2 in the final.

perfidious: MrDodgy, is it? Vastly amusing.
Jun-15-20  Sokrates: Subconsciously, I must have dodged this event, and now it's aldready over.

I am surprised that Navara could beat Svidler so clearly. Great for Giri to win ... something.
