Reykjavik Open (2019)

The 34th GAMMA Reykjavik Open was a 237-player 9-round Swiss played in the Harpa conference center in Reykjavik, Iceland, 8-16 April 2019. Rounds 2 and 3 were both played on 9 April, but there was a rest day on 12 April. Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 more minutes to the end of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move one. Tournament director: Gunnar Bjornsson. Chief Arbiter: Kristjan Orn Eliasson. Number of games played: 1011.

Constantin Lupulescu had the best Buchholz score and was declared the winner, ahead of Firouzja, Grandelius, and five more players with 7/9.
