Jan-26-07  PaulKeres: Vachier_Lagrave - Eljanov is an rather old opening, Giuoco Piano, Moller (c3). Could be interesting if he has anything new... I always feel very comfortable with it myself as black ...
Jan-26-07  Karpova: Vachier-Lagrave -Eljanov 0-1
Jan-26-07  sitzkrieg: im listening PK. dont cry no longer)
Jan-26-07  Theologue: Down the exchange at move 40, Bologan's in the fight for his life.

Bologan-Sargissian:

Jan-26-07  dehanne: What a blunder by Vachier-Lagrave. Unbelievable.

And what the heck was Spoelman's Qg5??

Jan-26-07  slomarko: Vachier's position was already lost at that time.
Jan-26-07  Mameluk: Tomorrow is the Jakovenko-Eljanov clash, even if playing Kosintseva in the last round may well be the sign Eljanov will succeed in this tournament.
Jan-26-07  bob000: Wow a 7 way tie for second.
Jan-27-07  Karpova: Final position in Atalik-Werle

.Bd3 draw agreed

Jan-27-07  Mameluk: So as expected, the tournament will be decided by T. Kosintseva.
Jan-28-07  WarmasterKron: I think Tatiana is lost. Eljanov has two connected passed rook pawns in a R+B vs. R+N endgame.
Jan-28-07  suenteus po 147: Eljanov wins clear first and has an automatic pass to Corus A next year.
Jan-28-07  PaulKeres: Bologon - Atalik is still going (17.26 GMT), looks to me as though Atalik might win it, which would be great for him ... Its currently live at 58. Rc1, but can't Atalik just play 58...d1=Q /?
Jan-28-07  PaulKeres: Interesting, its now 60...Kd2, and into final time control, 30 minutes added to each to finish the game. I like Atalik, because he always seems to get into long games, and fights and fights and fights on and on!!
Jan-28-07  Karpova: Bologan-Atalik 1/2
Jan-28-07  laskereshevsky: HELLO FOLKS

will you excuse my little vanity,
cause i want proudly say i solved all the (12) problems on the Afek's challenge, posted in the corus chess 2007 site.....of course without any help by th computer.

Jan-29-07  PaulKeres: <laskereshevsky>, well done.

No. If the sum of your rating changes do not add up to 0, you've got it wrong. Also, the fact that you get an error on the seventh row in all three of your calculations suggests to me that you're simply missing a cell in a range somewhere, as I assume you're using a spreadsheet.
