Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-24-09  laskereshevsky: Friday 1st May 2009 will be held in Cattolica, a beautiful beach resort city on the Adriatic sea in Italy, the Blitz tournament "First memorial Andrea Magalotti".....

He pasted away in the first days of April 2008 by the consequence of a strong heart attack....

Dont know if he was married and/or with childreen, only hearded about a sister who gifted all the brother's chess books collection to the local chess club, where he was well know and appreciate like player and person.

despite his not brilliant record here on CG, he was considered a very talented player.

The choice of the date is not casual cause he was born the 1st of May 1961, then he was almost 47 YO...

RIP Chess Friend Andrea.
