Aug-28-18  Gallicrow: Currently on http://www.chess.at/:

"Unfortunately, it came yesterday as part of the U14 Bewerbes at the European Championships to a disagreeable incident.

Within a control, a cell phone was found in the tournament adjoining rooms, which was assigned Marc Morgunov. His game (draw) was considered a loss, one draw for today has not been made for him. After consultation with the National Youth coach Siegi tree Egger Marc was taken from the side of the ÖSB entirely out of the tournament.

The ÖSB does not tolerate fraud in sports, we will lead in any event after the return of the team talks to make an investigation into the incident and also derive any disciplinary action, but from the point that there is a 13-year-olds.

Christian hursky, President."

Aug-28-18  whiteshark: Here's the original statement:

Jul-28-19  Gallicrow: Seems that being caught red-handed cheating doesn't even merit a year's ban, as Morgunov is listed in the list of competitors for this year's European Youth Chess Championship!: http://chess-results.com/tnr457392....
