Apr-13-16  cro777: Yuan Ye is participating in the 2016 Chinese Chess League (Division A). She is playing for the Jiangsu Province chess team (with Wei Yi on top board).

The 2016 Chinese Chess League Division A is a 12-team double round-robin featuring most of the top Chinese players and foreign stars like Mamedyarov, Malakhov, Dzagnidze and Khotenashvili. Each team consists of three male and two female players.

May-18-16  cro777: Ye Yuan is participating in the 2016 Chinese Woman Grandmaster Chess Tournament in Yangzhou.

The event is a Basque system chess tournament. In this unique style of chess the players face each other twice simultaneously, once with black and once with white. To date, no restrictions have been made to prevent one player from trying to copy the moves of the other, as in various magic illusions.
