Jun-15-23  Damenlaeuferbauer: <chancho> This happens, when cheaters are forced to play without their engine. Then they are reduced to their human playing strength.

beatgiant: By playing an early h4 and then castling kingside, White always had to watch out for a big kingside attack, as Black demonstrated excellently.

<18. Bxe7> Qxe7 19. Nc5 Nxh4 20. Nxh4 Qxh4 21. Qd2 looks much safer: controls the dark squares and c5, avoids what happened in the game with the ...Bxc5 followed by ...d4 breakthrough, and trades down some pieces while looking for queenside activity.

As for the 2335-rated 14 year old kid, in the same event he also scored an upset win over Mchedlishvili and a draw with Bu. His rating will surely keep rising quickly.
