FSR: This line poses very serious problems for the Smith-Morra Gambit. It is very well covered in this chessable course: https://www.chessable.com/100-reper... I played this blitz game almost perfectly apart from missing 22...Rxc2!

perfidious: <FSR>, ca 1981, I recall playing a version of this Paulsen line against a specialist in the Morra who was also an incorrigible zeitnot addict; I felt the main line of the Accepted was probably objectively equal, but gave that opponent the chance to play 15-20 moves without burning too much clock.
Dec-23-22  Ajedrezjc: <perfidious> Please explain the meaning of "zeitnot.>

FSR: <Ajedrezjc> "Zeitnot" is German for "time pressure."

FSR: Incidentally, Wikipedia's <Glossary of chess> is very comprehensive, defining hundreds of chess terms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloss...

keypusher: I played through the moves and wondered briefly why White didn't try 26.exf6...unfortunately en passant doesn't work that way!

FSR: <keypusher> That move would certainly have come as a shock to me, especially in an online game.
