  Teyss: One of the only two games of the database played by the philosopher Rousseau.
It's a bit a comedy of errors on both sides but it's 18th century, it's lively and goes all the way to mate.

9.Nxg5?! speculative sacrifice.
12.f4?! and 13.f5? all attack no defence. Should have developed the N and put the K to safety.
15...bxa1=Q? too greedy. Better h6 to challenge the B and activate the R.
16...Qxg8?? mate in three. Last chance to win was to give up both Qs with 16...Qaxf6 17.Rxf6+ Qxf6 18.Bxf6 Rxg8 and paradoxically there are few remaining threats on the BK. Black has 2Rs+B vs Q and decent prospects.
