OhioChessFan: A bit of a stretch and a bit of a groaner, but still an amusing pun.

An Englishman: Good Evening: The title baffled all five of my remaining brain cells.
Jul-11-23  lentil: <Englishman> My best guess is that its a pun on 'Harrison Ford'

Teyss: Apparently Missy went to the movies this weekend and the latest Indiana Jones inspired this hilarious pun.

Harry Zirn really got whipped here. The ending is 25...Qxh7 26.Rxf8+ Kg7 27.Rf7+ winning the Q or 25....Kh8 26.Rxf8+ Qxf8 27.Bg6+ Kg7 (Kg8 28.Qh7#) 28.Qh7+ Kf6 29.Rf1+ also winning the Q.

However Harry Zirn did win a game against Lasker in a simul: Lasker vs H Zirn, 1903. Just like in the movie, beating the Germans.

Honza Cervenka: Instead of 19...Bxe5 it was better to take with the Queen but decisive mistake was 20...Rc6. After 20...Qd6 black is OK.

Korora: <lentil> So, José shot first? ;þ
Jul-11-23  Saniyat24: beautiful game, pungent pun...!

  scormus: What <Saniyat24> and <Honza Cervenka> said. I was wondering how B managed to lose so quickly. 20 ... Rc6, that's how!

Harry Zirn Flatted

fredthebear: Once again, the pun master passed on many better puns suggested by members to post her own flat fizzle. Desperation seems to be the only way a member pun suggestion is used in lieu of her compulsive hoarding.
