May-29-20  Brenin: Giving up the advanced h pawn with 43 ... h2 seems a curious choice, giving away good winning chances. Better to keep it as a threat, and advance the K with Kf6?
May-29-20  goodevans: Okay game. The very clever pun would also have worked for U Sadikhov vs A Tari, 2017 which might have been a better choice.

OhioChessFan: A Tari something was used not too long ago. (Went ahead and searched. It was 5 years ago. Time flies.)

WannaBe: The previous Atari pun was maybe 2 month ago? That "inspired" this pun.

Atari 64 was a game console, chess board is 8x8, and this game have 64 moves.

May-29-20  jith1207: Can't wait for the next Atari pun ;)

That said, this is the first time I've seen this pun so made me smile.

At this point the white King might be thinking of the lyrics from the 1979 song "Space Invaders": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2l...

Through dark sunken eyes
I see another pale sunrise
Surrounded by soldiers
Glued to the screens
Hold back the invaders
Their infernal machines

[Pre-Chorus]
We fight to survive
Running to stay alive
Our bodies aching and tired
There's no where to hide
Our covers' been blown away

[Chorus]
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders
Space Invaders ooooooooooh

They're closing in on me
Dark forces cold and unseen
Oh my hip pocket nerve is aching again
I must go back in and fight it out to the end
