is it proper to analyze the game after it is done, why did magnus storm off?

Nov-29-09  A Karpov Fan: Magnus looks to have lost the thread here at the end, he should have taken the draw.

Because he's an arrogant jerk, which I knew ever since I saw a photo of him. Or perhaps it's just Kasparov's arrogance demonstrating itself? Hm...

Nov-29-09  Bobsterman3000: ownage
Nov-29-09  OneArmedScissor: Gonna drink sweet, sweet Magnus-fanboy-tears after this one.

get real. it's totally ok to show emotions - after all, that's what we want to see. he shaked hands (albeit for the shortest possible time) and that's that. there is no moral obligation to do a post mortem with your opponent. and don't forget he is a teenager who just gave away a completely won position along with the tournament victory and had to start all over again (i.e. from 1-1), which is very frustrating of course. do you want to have dry, half-dead zombies as chessplayers who are never ever passionate?

i am not his greatest supporter but personally am very satisfied to see him as hard-working and eager to win as maybe the young fisher.

Nov-29-09  CruyffTurn: <IraGraves> Word.
Nov-29-09  wing hing: magnus the world champion... maybe he thinks he is and he behaves like a diva tryin to get the papparazzi
Nov-30-09  JohnBoy: <Ira> - When in this game did MC have <a completely won position>?
Dec-01-09  Everett: The thing that is interesting is the possibility that the future of chess will be dominated by players who have a brain wired for mathematical problem solving like chess but lack in other areas of development. It would be interesting if the top 10 was filled with slightly autistic individuals. Their particular condition may allow themselves to naturally understand positions better while having an ability to blunt their emotional response.
Dec-01-09  Everett: BTW, the chess world doesn't need another Fischer. It needs more polymaths and complete people.
Dec-01-09  VinnyRoo2002: <JohnBoy> Ira is referring to game two, when even Nakamura said, he was completely lost. Carlsen just made some inaccuracies and Nakamura came back.
Dec-02-09  Everett: It is not proper or customary to analyze a game after it is done. Not in my experience.
Dec-02-09  TheMacMan: in this game naka makes carlsen look like a 1428 elo patzer! thats what i call natural talent! future world champion, from now on nakas new nickname is THE MACHINE!
Dec-03-09  shishio71: Well, there's something we don't see to often: Magnus losing
Jan-21-10  Doug4Chess: I'm wondering why in the world Nakamura played 52. ...Nd4 when 52. ...Qg1 would have won the game outright with a checkmate.
Jan-21-10  I play the Fred: 52...Qg1+ 53 Kxe2.
