May-07-21  Messiah: Terrible!
May-07-21  newzild: I like it how the only note by International Master Raymond Keene is a note saying 'Notes by International Master Raymond Keene'.

perfidious: The single note in text gives great insight.
May-07-21  Brenin: Memories! I was there, though only as a spectator, not a competitor. Black disappeared from chess history after just two recorded games, whereas White has gone on to a distinguished and productive career.
May-07-21  Nosnibor: So is Keene supposed to be the Walrus ?
May-07-21  goodevans: <Notes by Stockfish 9 v010218 (minimum 6s/ply)>

I prefer Ray Keene's notes that we had before these SF annotations appeared. At least they are 100% consistent. We can, of course, get back to them by clicking on <[CLICK HERE] FOR ORIGINAL>.

  HeMateMe: Goo goo ga CHOOB!
May-07-21  BwanaVa: Chessgames editor-this is not a Kings Indian Attack opening.
May-07-21  qkxwsm: You guys are seeing notes?

perfidious: Black may well be Eggman, whose only game here is a win over a future CC GM (GMC) and appeared in the very first edition of Informator.

Check It Out: Appropriate pun as I always thought of R Keene as being walrus-like.

Dionysius1: Why not <BwanaVa>? No e4? What would you have it called instead? I can't do anything about it, just curious.

perfidious: Had the opening gone 1.c4 c6 2.Nf3 d5 3.g3 g6, this would not have wound up in A07.
May-07-21  BwanaVa: I would say the opening is a Reti, or a Neo -Grunfeld, or perhaps even an English.
May-07-21  RandomVisitor: After 7.b4, Keene would have had "egg" on his face had Eggman played 7...a5:
