GrahamClayton: The direct exchange on d6 leads to a forced exchange of Queens and a dissipation of White's advantage after 15. ♘xd6+ ♕xd6 16. ♗b5+ ♔e7.

15. ♗g6! makes the threat of 16. ♘xd6+ impossible to meet, eg 15...♘xc4 16. ♖xe6+, or 15...♔e7 16. ♘xd6 ♕xd6 17. ♕xd6+ ♔xd6 18. ♗xf7 ♗d5 19. ♖ad1 with a winning attack.

offramp: The Bg6 move had an antivatar in Anand vs Lautier, 1997, although Anand's sac was much less straightforward.
Jun-19-19  Dimitrije Mandic: 21. g4 - outstanding move!
