A little later 23.Na5 looks slightly better than the move played, 23.b5. 23.Na5 might have led to this position, after 23. Na5 Bd8 24. Rxb8+ Kxb8 25. Nxc6+ Kb7 26. b5 Bc7 27.Nxd5:

Unclear! Black defends and attacks equally well. White's king is in a pretty bloody position at the end I can tell you.
