 | | Sneaky: Wow, what an attack! My favorite move is the coolheaded 12. Kf1! (and not 12. O-O?), neutralizing Black's threats, yet leaving the rook on the h-file for the second wave of the attack. |
Aug-19-02 | | morphynoman2: I agree. Very impressive. |
Aug-19-02 | | bishop: Nice game! Maybe ...a6 was needed before ...c5, or ...c4 instead of ...0-0, or ...f5 instead of ...cxd4. |
Mar-23-04 | | seoulmama: Absolutely gorgeus. |
Apr-14-04 | | alvishope1: So... this mean that uncle Watson need to chance his faworite French... |
Apr-14-04 | | alvishope1: I'm so excite about this gorgeous attack that words are flying down to alley...... |
Apr-14-04 | | Kenkaku: Somewhat of a Danish Gambit in the French. Quite original. |
Apr-14-04 | | iron maiden: This game makes me feel a lot better about playing against the French. |
Apr-14-04 | | Minor Piece Activity: Nice play. |
Jul-30-04 | | Knight13: Good game. |
May-06-05 | | schnarre: The Two-Knights vs the French isn't very common, but offers a great deal of chances for the adventurous.
<iron maiden> Why would you have any reservations about playing against the French? |
Jun-10-05 | | ksadler: When playing the French, I play 1. e4 e6 2. Nf3 c5! going into a mainline Sicilian if they try to throw the 2 Knights at me. A wonderful attack by White in this game though. |
Oct-22-05
 | | Open Defence: c5 seemed a weak move leading the Knight trying to exploit d6 |
Oct-29-05 | | Karpova: @Open defence
i don't think it's too weak a move. he could have tried 8...cd or c4 instead of 8....a6 losing a tempo. he could counter any tries to bring the knight to d6 with bc7 |
Oct-29-05
 | | Open Defence: <Karpova> I think 8..cxd would lead to White having pressure on the c file, 8..c4 seems a little better, however the biggest issue with c5 is that the Black ♗ on a5 seems out of the game somewhat which compunds the problems on d6 |
Oct-29-05 | | Karpova: the bishop could get into play by bc7 threatening the knight on d6 if he gets there. the bishop would be out of play anyway so maybe he should have exchanged immediately.
5...c5 doesn't change much since the bishop could only go to c5 if he gets attacked and then d4 would win a tempo for white hadn't black played 5...c5. |
Jan-13-06 | | schnarre: A ...c5 move is thematic in nearly all French positions, but White stayed in firm control here! |
Apr-12-06 | | DeepBlade: <schnarre> Indeed, see this line for typical French (pawn)defelopment 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. c3 Nc6 5. Aug-23-08 | | just a kid: I got exactly par on G-T-M.Great game by Kosteniuk! |
Oct-01-08 | | arsen387: I don't like quick wins but this one impressed me much. Fascinating tactics by Alexandra |
Oct-01-08 | | Ladolcevita: relatively for the most part,a successful combination is established by opponet's mistake........lets imagine together, what if the person sitting there is a higer rated grandmaster,i doubt whether Kosteniuk would succeed checkating in the end. |
Jan-17-09 | | Phantom.Nightmare: A nice quick game for enjoying in the less played Two Knights Variation of the French . |

Apr-10-09 | | ChessYouGood: Hot game by a hot babe |

Dec-05-09 | | tonsillolith: <Hot game by a hot babe> <i love that girl she play chess like a god =D> You guys sound like those people who play World of Warcraft all the time and then get really excited when you see a woman talking about World of Warcraft on some game review TV show. |
