May-11-23  nalinw: Actually the final position is not a quick mate ... Black has Nc5 .....

Teyss: <nalinw: Actually the final position is not a quick mate ... Black has Nc5> Good point although White is a piece up after 20.Qxc5 (not 20.dxc5? bxc6 21.Rxa6+ Qa7 22.Rxa7+ Kxa7).

Black was asking for it with 13...a6?, the simple dxe5 would have kept it going. Black was probably afraid of Nxa7+ but there was no cause for concern: 13...dxe5 14.Nxa7+? Kb8 15.Nb5 e4! 16.Qxe4 Ngf6 wins the R.

After 13...dxe5, if 14.dxe5 Nb6 opens the d file with tempo and 14.Nxe5 Nxe5 15.Rxe5 Qh4+: in both cases the WK is more uncomfortable than the BK.

I'm not subtle enough for the pun, even with HeMateMe's link. It's not a reference to Ronnie O'Sullivan, is it?

It's simpler than that. "Pull(ing) a fast one" is just a slang phrase for "engaging in trickery ", etc.

May-11-23  goodevans: <Teyss: ... the simple dxe5 would have kept it going.>

Black had three opportunities to play ...dxe5, all of which would have been fine. It seems he was concerned something bad might happen after ...dxe5 when it was exd6 he should have been worried about.

Teyss: <OhioChessFan> Thanks. TBH I was expecting better from our Master Pun Selector & Creator. The chief trickery was 13.Nb5 (?! or !? depending who you're facing) which could have backfired. Good attack from thereon.

<Missy> Insisting twice on "Lick my boot" reveals your genuine SM tendencies, on the dominating side. I'm not surprised.
