Apr-21-06  alexandrovm: white is crushed here by black's king's indian. A very nice game!
Jun-16-06  RookFile: keypusher played well, of course. The Nxd4 followed by Nb5 idea can't be what white's supposed to, Nxd4 isn't even a threat due to some shot uncovering the g7 bishop against d4.

Dec-24-09  holy tramp: <tpstar> I really got to thank you for this post back in '05. I only saw it last year and wondered what the heck it all meant. Still not sure, but I did a search on youtube, found "Oh Daddy", loved the song, have since become a religious Adrian Belew fan. All from some obscure chess game- how great is that?
Jun-17-22  jerseybob: White's Bd3 is not commendable here in my opinion. It blocks the Queen's access to d4 and makes the 8..Nd4 idea even more powerful. Later on, white should definitely play 12.Bxf6 to get rid of the powerful knight. Bd3 coupled with Nge2(eyeing f3 or f4) can be strong in some settings, like the game Penrose-Tal 1960. But you've gotta bring the bishop out before playing Nf3.

Teyss: Wow, what a rout. After Black's 28th there are Q+2Rs+2Bs directly aiming at the unprotected WK, that's a bit much to handle.

That's the only win by Scott Thomson out of 8 games in the database. Apparently User: keypusher is too modest to submit his wins. 😉
