CG's neat checkmates
Compiled by LIFE Master AJ
--*--

Learning to develop killer tactics is one of the reasons so many people visit this site.

One of the ways to sharpen your tactical acumen is to train your "chess eyes" to spot checkmates, no matter how deeply they might be hidden in the position.

So many times, I run across a surprising mate, and I think ... "I should have saved that one." Now I will save them ... ... ... into this "GC" (here). (Tues. Aug. 11th, 2009.) NOTE: Not all the mates will have actually occurred on the board, I will add a game to this collection as long as the mate is forced; (and hopefully a little different than the usual type of mates that you see).
