Eleven rounds in 8 days, starting on Saturday 15 July. Double rounds on 16 (2 & 3), 18 (5 & 6) and 20 (8 & 9) July (66 games). Ståhlberg beat Lundin in Round 1, but Lundin caught up in Round 11 and the two ended =1st. One now foresaw a playoff match for the Nordic Champion title, but that match never happened.

The Masters A tournament was won by Aage Vestol, ahead of Georg Christiansen (2nd), Harry Alexandersson and Erik Johansson (=3rd). The Masters B tournament was won by Gustav Marthinsen, ahead of Hartvig Nielsen (2nd) and Sverre Foss (3rd). Vestøl and Marthinsen earned the Nordic Master title.
