 | | Annie K.: https://chess24.com/en/watch/live-t... :) See 'Information' tab for exact schedule.
But I'm not sure the White/Black allocation of the first game is a fact just yet. ;) |
May-02-18 | | WinKing: Thanks <Annie K.> they must have just put that up. I've been looking for it all day on Chess24. Yeah, as to who has white or black will have to be watched. They usually switch colors at the midway point also. Ok, as soon as we have some reliable information as to to who has what color I will post something. |
May-02-18 | | WinKing: I see all rounds are a 03:30. I'm assuming that is 3:30am(EST) chessgames time. |
May-02-18 | | WinKing: Found it:
<"The drawing lows and technical meeting is hosted by chief arbiter,Women’s grandmaster Ms Anastasia Sorokina. After picking one huge chess set, it turns out Ju wenjun will play white tomorrow."> Source: http://china2018.fide.com/
Ju Wenjun has white in the first game according to the article above. We are in business. Not much time to bet in the first round but I will post it anyway. |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: We are back in action. Place your bets! |
May-03-18
 | | Annie K.: <WinKing> I think chess24 usually shows times in your (everybody's) own local time. To double check, there is also the "game will start in ___ hours" information in some layouts. |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: <Annie K.: <WinKing> I think chess24 usually shows times in your (everybody's) own local time.> Yes, pretty sure your right <Annie K.>.
That's what I've always thought. I stayed up for that 3:30am start of the WWC game 1 just to make sure things went smoothly. The game seemed to start a bit early like maybe 3:20am. So I backed the starting time up for game 2 by 5 min. to 3:25am just in case they start early again. I don't mind spotting the bettors 5 min. but not 10. ;) |

May-06-18 | | sydbarrett: I'm glad I don't need the loanshark now that i'm not that broke. That guy is a poopyface. |
May-06-18 | | sydbarrett: By the way thanks for the obscure bets available. I'll bet on ANYTHING. so keep it up thx |
May-06-18
 | | WannaBe: If you want "Exotic Bets", we can have rolling bets, like Daily Doubles Example: What will be the results of Women Championship Games 5 and 6 Or Which game will have more moves: Women Championship Game 4 or Tiviakov-Korobov (If white plays and black resign, it will count as 0.5 move. Hence you can have 43.5 moves to 43 moves) etc... =) |
May-06-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: We'll have a few exotic bets during the Norway tournament. I'll pull out a few of my old ones like 'Lookie lookie @ my Rookies' & 'Knights vs. Bishops' plus I'll come up with a few new ones. These tournaments right now won't generate the chessbuck flow that Norway will. |
May-06-18 | | morfishine: Thanks <Chessgames Bookie> for keeping on top of things! Entertainment as it occupies our leisure time cannot be undervalued :) ***** |
May-06-18 | | sydbarrett: Exotic bets are cool too. When I said "obscure" bets, I meant betting on tournaments and players that are mostly unknown, e.g. this woman's championship, and the Nachovian tournament you are currently featuring. I also like to bet on TCEC. |
May-07-18
 | | Chessgames Bookie: The Women's World Championship is turning into an 'all out brawl'...outstanding! :) |
May-08-18 | | sydbarrett: Dam I fell asleep before I could place bets. I'm obsessed with making as much chessbucks as I can in this life |
