1. So, 2. Barbosa, 3. JP, 4. Mark and 5.alternate Eugene. This resembles age, experience and players who can revive the excitement in Philippine chess. Also, with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes of Filipinos in the 10th Parsvnath, congratulations is in order for Sec Pichay and Exec Dir Jayson. May they sponsor many more enriching tournaments for our worthy chess contenders. Cheers and Chess. |

Go to FIDE site and look for yourself! Next type "Philippines", and there you will read: There is no listed player from this country? Wow? Is the Philippines banned ? On account of what? Are we paying our dues to them? Or why? Can those Filipinos who are recognized as Fide arbiter, trainer, organizer second etc (led by Casto Abundo, Egay de Castro , please let us know)?
