The big ELO gains of GMs Salvador,Paragua,Laylo, Gomez plus IM Barbosa will help bring this along. We may even reach as high as #28 overtaking even Norway at 2535 average for their top ten. THREE of the country’s top players -- GMs Wesley So, Mark Paragua and John Paul Gomez -- have already confirmed their participation in the 2011 National Inter-Province chess team championship set April 1-5 at the Cabagnot Training Center in Kalibo, Aklan. Paragua will lead the fight for Misamis Oriental during the five-day competition being held in this progressive Western Visayas province noted for its world-famous Santo Niño Ati-Atihan Festival.
