<Chennai, May 21 (PTI) Syed Anwar Shazuli of ICF, Chennai, emerged champion in the St Peter’s School 1st All-India Open FIDE-rated Chess tournament in Kodaikanal today. Shazuli finished equal on seven points from eight rounds with Ram S Krishnan (BSNL) and Kodaikanal’s M V Lakshmi Narayanan, but won the title on the basis of a superior tie-break score.>
