chessgames.com: Does anybody know if this player is Franz G Jacob, or just somebody who happens to have the same name?

Is there a special reason for this question other than trying to clean up the database a little? :)

According to the NIC database Franz Jacob, born 1908, represented Saarland in the 1952 olympiad. Looking at the years in which Franz G Jacob played his tournament games, he is clearly someone else.
