Mar-28-24  ultrausurper: Good defense by Ding, correctly sacrificing the exchange to hold. This is the first game of regular chess these two have played since Ding became the World Champion. Hopefully he is coming back to his old self.

DaltriDiluvi: Maybe <32.Rxd5> would have been a better try for Magnus? They say that in general, it's good to trade rooks when you're up the exchange.
Mar-29-24  Olavi: 32.Rxd5 exd5 may be a complete blockade.
Mar-29-24  Olavi: Well it's a bit shaky. 32...Nxd5 is completely OK, but this is interesting. 32...exd5 33.Be2 a5 34.f4 Bxf4 35.Rxd4 (threatens Rxf4) Be3 36.Rd1 and the rook switches to the f-line... maybe.
