Oct-29-23  EvanTheTerrible: Rapport taking on a5 reminds me of his refusal of a repetition in last year's Candidates' tournament. Complete self destruction in one move.

Oct-29-23  boz: As Neimann said in the post game interview, it was either take the pawn or defend passively. I guess Rapport just couldn't stand the idea of passive defense. But it must be said, Hans sure knows how to attack.
