OhioChessFan: <P. J. Wortman, of the Dayton Chess club, has made the following annotatin of the game lost by Dr. Emmanuel Lasker, chess champion o fthe world, to Linthicum, an amateur of Dayton, O., in the late simultaneous exhibit. The game shows that the champion was not playing his best, but was making moves with the object of winning quickly, in which he was clearly outwitted, on his own admission: >

fredthebear: The world champ defeated by the insipid Four Knights Italian? What will the big perd say now?

Maybe this Italian seasoning really is edible for White.
