Of that there's no doubt. He's the one to keep an eye on for creative play right now. The whole last year has given him great opportunity to mix it up with the big boys. I don't see a significant rating increase yet, BUT.. I looked at his rating progress on the FIDE site and no more roller coaster. His play seems to have stabilized. He's having more consistent results. That's good!

Mar-04-22  Ulhumbrus: If in an opening that leads to this pawn formation the move 21 e4 can be regarded as a potential threat as for example in the game Kasparov vs Short, 1993 this suggests that Black has gone wrong before this point. The move 14 f3 suggests the advance ...c5, however at the moment White has prevented it by moves such as 8 Qc2 and 13 Rb1 and that suggests beginning preparations for the pawn advance ...c5 by such moves as 14...Qe7 or 14...Ne6
