  An Englishman: Good Morning: Surprised to see the 4.e4 line of the English Four Knights lead to such a sharp sacrificial attack. The march of theory, perhaps; in my time, White's pawn structure was considered too immobile to lead to anything.

Here he had a lot of help from his opponent, though. After 16 moves we seem to have gotten to a sort of Saemisch Nimzoindian:

But of course that only happened because Black allowed it to happen.

Then Black plays ...exf4 and ...f6-f5, and things really open up:

I haven't tried to evaluate the game, but Black was certainly running enormous risks.
