  chancho: Shanked!
Jan-27-17  JimNorCal: Courageous sac by GM Shankland. Cool defense by GM Ju. Starting about move 33 Rb4 looks promising.
Jan-27-17  ser mickey: Shackled sam!
Jan-27-17  Calli: 36...Rxe4?? fails tactically. Briliant insight on my part, no? I think Black suddenly saw e5 as a real threat and a little panic set in. 36...f6 probably holds.
Feb-03-17  jerseybob: <Calli: 36...Rxe4?? fails tactically.> To me, the main tactical failure occurred earlier, with 19..a6!?, allowing the stifling 20.f4. 19..g5 seems better, both to combat f4 and to give black's knight a retreat square on g6. It may be positionally suspect, but it gives freedom.

Maybe he's into bondage or S&M or something...
