Not a thing.

In fact it wins!

Black was in full control of the game until 30...Bd6??

The correct continuation is 30...Be7

The game was reported as follows:

<<<STATE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP.>

The chess championship was advanced another stage on Saturday evening <8th February 1908> at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts [...] Mr. Spencer Crakanthorp (the holder) Mr. G. Brown. The first mentioned games are unfinished and the last was won by Mr. Crakanthorp after an interesting fight which was followed with great interest by the spectators. This makes Mr. Crakanthorp's fifth clear win. Mr. Brown missed a very obvious chance of lowering the champion's colours after the latter's 30th move: Bishop from QB4 to Q3 <30...Bd6> pinning the white knight. White should have played QxP (ch) <31.Qxf6+> winning the bishop, instead of K to R <31.Kh1>.>

- Sydney Morning Herald (NSW), Monday 10 February 1908, page 4>

It was soon after this game George Brown retired from the tournament.

Spencer Crakanthorp went on to successfully defend his title with a first place score of 13/14 (+12/=2/-0)
