White can maneuver one bishop to e7, the other bishop to a4 and then to d7 and to e6, and eventually win the d-pawn and the game. But true, this seems like a strange moment to decide to resign.

<beatgiant> but if white’s bishop leaves from g4 then black’s knight will take both the h and f pawn long before the bishop reaches e6. Looks very drawish to me... Perhaps Erik had to catch a flight and resigned.
