tamar: 27 Rxa2! is one of those incredible moves that come up in the Botvinnik Variation.

White puts the rook en prise- Black cannot really take it because of Qxc6-that part is clear, but what about the free knight on g5?

Robson thought for awhile, took the knight, and Romain Edouard showed the hidden solution.

Feb-20-11  GilesFarnaby: 11.exf6 is the normal move: postponing it doesn´t have such a good record for white, but knowing Edouard the afinity that Robson has for exchange sacrificies he prepared something deeper out of this off-beat line. The advantage of knowing the opponent!
Feb-20-11  Gilmoy: After <27.Rxa2>, the ensuing K-hunt felt eerily like Kasparov chasing Topalov's K further up the left sideline, with the <threat of Bf1> casting a pall on all the white squares.

Amazing that Black can't find one tempo for the usual Bb7. One more defender of c6 would have solved many problems!
