Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-26-08  euripides: Harakrishna seizes the opportunity to open the e file and never lets the initiative go. 17...Qf6 looks surprising but if 17...0-0-0 then e.g. 18 Nb5 Qb8 19.f6 Ng6 20.Nf5 looks tremendous for White. 30.Nxd5 seems to break Black's fragile structure and might make a nice puzzle.
Sep-27-08  Andrew Chapman: What happens after 29..Nc4? I suppose Qc2, Nxe5, Qf5+, but then it's not too clear to me.
Sep-30-08  euripides: <Andrew> I'm not sure but maybe White can win with the queen sac <29...Nc4> 30.Nxd5 Nxd2 31.Nf6+ Kc8 32.Nxe8 e.g. 32... Rg8 33.Nf6 Rh8 34.Rg1 Nf3 (...Qh2 35.Ree1) 35.Ng8 Qd7 36.e8=Q+ Qxe8 38.Rxe8 Kd7 39.Nf6+.
