chancho: Had Zamora (now Sammour Hasbun) had the economic resources to further work on his game, he would (imo) have become a Grandmaster and a top US player.

(He did have a few lessons with Mikhail Tal)

He was around 13 years of age when he played this game and the one below:

J Medina-Zamora vs J Bonin, 1991

(he also beat Gata Kamsky, Roman Dzindzichashvili, and Patrick Wolff around this time)

Dec-27-11  TheBish: He was just 11 when he played this game, according to Larry Christiansen in "Storming the Barricades".
Aug-12-14  Ke2: Mutual blunders on move 11,
11. f3!
11... e3!
Aug-12-14  Ke2: Awesome finish though.
Jan-30-22  Granny O Doul: The moves here have been entered wrong. Aside from the extreme unlikelihood of the 12-year-old Jorge overlooking 11. f3, I remember him showing the game just afterward and pointing out that after (as actually played) 10...0-0 11. Nb3 Bg4, 12. Qd2 would be met by ...e3 13. fe Ne4 (Jorge Sr. argued forcefully for 13...Bxe3, but he was voted down by the others at the table).

An Englishman: Good Evening: Stunning attack, looks like something Morphy would have played. He did win a pair of nice games as Black v. De Rivière in the 6.d3 (Yankovich?) variation.
Aug-15-23  Honey Blend: 20. ♖f1 looks more sensible. White's king can still get away after something like 20. ... ♕xh5+ 21. ♔d2 ♖ad8+ 22. ♔c1 ♗g5 23. ♘c3 ♕xh3 24. ♘xe4 ♗xe3+ 25. ♔b1

Either that or 20. ... ♖ad8 21. ♘1d2 ♕xh5+ 22. ♘f3 exf3+ 23. ♖xf3 still looks quite playable.
