Oct-27-07  armtwister: Excellent play by Ivanchuk!!..is the main line Sheveshnikov dead??
Oct-27-07  ajile: Again Ivanchuk wins by weakening Leko's pawn structure and then attacking the weaknesses created. Seems to be a theme in this match. Leko needs to avoid getting doubled and weak pawns in the opening.

Very good observation.

Oct-27-07  Freakio: I know i'm in no position to judge a GM's moves, but don't u think that Leko's 35..g4 was a bit of a blunder? It allows the bishop to move into a position where it can further exploit black's already weak pawn structure.

Yes, but what else? hxg5 threatened, winning the g5 or the e5 pawn. The h6 bishop semmed to be in a bad place, but it's just unattackable.
