Oct-28-07 Ivanchuk vs Leko, 2007
|
ipatri: <Freakio: I know i'm in no position to judge a GM's moves, but don't u think that Leko's 35..g4 was a bit of a blunder? It allows the bishop to move into a position where it can further exploit black's already weak pawn structure.> Yes, but what else? hxg5 threatened, winning ... |

Oct-26-07 Topalov vs X Bu, 2007
|
ipatri: Where is the game? |

Oct-26-07 X Bu vs Topalov, 2007
|
ipatri: Bu deserved this win. He dominated the game, Topalov's changes didn't solve his problems at all. If there isn't Rg6??, then Bu would win the a6 pawn and with two pawns up and two passed pawns the win is his. The Chinese played this game in a very good attacking style. |

Jul-31-07 Carlsen vs Pelletier, 2007
|
ipatri: Yes, he beated Moro two times, but with black he had a lost position. I think:
Carlsen-Pelletier 1-0
Van Wely-Carlsen 1/2-1/2
Carlsen-Radja 1/2-1/2
so Magnus will win the tourney. |

Dec-07-06 V Akopian vs Ponomariov, 2002
|
ipatri: Great game from GM Akopian. His opening wasn't a sharp one (3. c3) , but after that he played very well. Maybe Ponomariov was too optimistic on the queenside, or am I wrong? |
