LIFE Master AJ: A nice win by Sasikiran. Its very instructive, really. No big tactics, he just slowly outplays the Greek GM here.

fredthebear: 36.b6 threatens the crushing 37.Qc7 penetration with dual possibilities of checkmate on f7 and promotion after the exchange of queens. Black blocks the file with 36...Nc6 to keep the White queen out. 37.Qc5 sets up a discovered check/attack that would remove the important b7-pawn block, so the Black king steps away with 37...Kg8. 38.Ba4 Bf8 goes to work on the knights, but it's too late for the Black bishop. White plays 39.BxNc6 and his b-pawn will promote sooner or later. White can take advantage of any remaining capture by Black by simply recapturing.
