keypusher: <What happened >to using your own grey cells!!>

I use my grey cells on my own games; hate to inflict them on the work of grandmasters. :-)

Jan-21-06  Ulhumbrus: One variation is 31 Qd2 g5 32 Bxg5 Ng3 mate. This is not forced, but it counts as one of the things which White has to avoid, and therefore as one of the things which Black may be able to take advantage of.
Jan-21-06  Averageguy: <srs55> No it doesn't.
Jan-21-06  whatthefat: 31.Ra2 should seal it.
Jan-21-06  maxxowar: Aronian - Van Wely is a really violent match.

Jan-21-06  cuendillar: If not for the engine analysis here, I imagine a few of us would feel more than a little uneasy about Sokolov's attack.
